What are Silicone Oils? 

Silicone oils are a class of synthetic fluids based on siloxane polymers, most commonly polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), with a repeating –Si–O–Si– backbone and organic side groups (such as methyl, phenyl, amino, or fluoro groups).
They are engineered to deliver stable, predictable performance across a wide temperature range and under demanding chemical and mechanical conditions.

Unlike conventional mineral or synthetic hydrocarbon oils, silicone oils are chemically inert, thermally stable, and highly tunable, meaning their viscosity, functionality, and performance can be precisely designed for specific applications.
